About Us

What is the PTA?

The Parent–Teacher Association (PTA) of Namilyango College is a voluntary body that brings together parents, guardians and teachers to foster partnership in the education and holistic development of students. It serves as a channel of communication, advocacy and support between families and the college administration.

Through the PTA, parents participate meaningfully in school governance, contribute to initiatives that enhance the learning environment, and stay informed about college policies, events and their children's progress.

  • Facilitates communication between parents and the college
  • Advises the Board on matters affecting student welfare
  • Mobilises resources for school improvement projects
  • Organises termly AGMs to update parents on school affairs
