Namilyango College is a great College that covers a large Geographical area well situated with Historical Structures that traces the Origin of the Great College. Some of these structures have been refurbished to give them a more beautiful look.
Sports in Namilyango College
Namilyango College is also known for its Excellent performance in the Sports sector and for long was the best school in boxing until the sport was stopped in the school in the early 1990s. Rugby is the biggest sport in the College. Namilyango has won the national schools' rugby title more than any other school, and has sent numerous players to the national team.

WELCOME TO NAMILYANGO COLLEGE
This is a boys-only boarding middle and high school located in Mukono District in the Central Region of Uganda, whose history and excellence in sports and academics have made it one of the most prestigious schools in Uganda. It is Uganda’s first secondary school, founded in 1902 by the Catholic Mill Hill Fathers. The school campus is situated on Namilyango Hill, approximately 6 kilometres (3.7 mi), by road, southwest of Mukono Town, the district headquarters, and about 4 kilometres (2 mi), by road, south of the township of Seeta, the nearest trading center. The college lies approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi), by road, east of Kampala, Uganda’s capital and largest city.

Namilyango College Motto
NISI DOMINUS - without God We Toil in Vain. It is in Latin and it is a quotation from the book of psalms 127 meaning ‘in God does not build a house, in vain do its builders toil’. Meaning, that without God nothing is possible or with God everything is possible. The college devotes all its work and activities and the people therein to God for his Guidance and intervention. At the same time, the community is encouraged to live a prayerful life for the spiritual development.
