Admission Requirements

Everything you need to know about applying to Namilyango College

Senior One Requirements

  • Completed Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) with at least 4 in Division 1 or 2
  • Original PLE results slip (plus 2 photocopies)
  • Birth certificate (original + 2 copies)
  • 4 recent passport photos with white background
  • Recommendation letter from previous school's headteacher
  • Completed medical examination form from recognized hospital
  • Copy of immunization card
  • Application fee payment receipt

Senior Five Requirements

  • Completed Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least 8 passes
  • Original UCE results slip (plus 2 photocopies)
  • Birth certificate (original + 2 copies)
  • 4 recent passport photos with white background
  • Recommendation letter from previous school's headteacher
  • Completed medical examination form from recognized hospital
  • Application fee payment receipt

International Students

  • Certified copies of academic transcripts (translated to English if necessary)
  • English proficiency test results (for non-English speaking countries)
  • Valid student visa/passport copies
  • Guardian information form if residing in Uganda
  • Medical insurance coverage proof
  • 4 recent passport photos with white background
  • Completed medical examination form

Admission Process Timeline

Key dates for the 2024/2025 academic year

March 1 - May 31

Application Period

Submit your complete application package either online or at our admissions office. Early applications receive priority consideration.

June 15

Entrance Examinations

All applicants sit for standardized entrance tests covering core subjects. Bring your admission slip and valid identification.

July 1-5

Interview Week

Shortlisted candidates attend panel interviews with academic staff. Parents/guardians are encouraged to accompany S.1 applicants.

July 15

Admission Decisions

Successful candidates receive official admission letters via email and post. Scholarship awards are announced simultaneously.

August 15

Confirmation Deadline

Deadline to accept admission offer and pay the non-refundable confirmation fee to secure your placement.

January 6-10

Orientation Week

New students report for orientation activities, campus tours, and academic preparation before term begins.
