Our Governing Body
The Board of Governors is the supreme governing body of Namilyango College, constituted under the laws of Uganda and the college's constitution. The Board is responsible for overall policy direction, financial oversight, and ensuring that the college remains true to its founding Catholic mission — Nisi Dominus.
Board members are distinguished individuals drawn from the Church, government, academia, the business community, and the alumni body (NACOBA). They serve three-year renewable terms and hold at least three formal sittings per year, with additional extraordinary meetings as required.

Milestones
2023
The Board approved and launched a comprehensive five-year strategic development plan, setting ambitious targets for academic excellence, infrastructure, staffing, and digital learning.
2022
The Board authorised the construction of a modern science and ICT facility to expand the college's STEM capacity and prepare students for the digital economy.
2020
Comprehensive student safeguarding, anti-bullying and mental health policies were reviewed and updated, strengthening the college's duty of care to all learners.
2016
A comprehensive revision of the college constitution was completed, clearly defining governance structures, Board powers, and the rights and obligations of all stakeholders.
2002
The Board led grand centenary celebrations marking 100 years of Namilyango College, commissioning the Centenary Library and planting the centenary garden in honour of founding missionaries.
