Senior 6 Thanksgiving at Namilyango College – A Celebration of Faith, Style, and Gratitude

On Sunday, 19th October 2025, Namilyango College held its much-anticipated Senior 6 Thanksgiving Service at the College Chapel, marking a significant moment of reflection and celebration for the Class of 2025 as they prepare for their upcoming UACE examinations.

The event, organized through the combined efforts of the Welfare and Academics Departments, brought together students, teachers, administrators, and support staff in a spirit of unity and gratitude. The atmosphere was filled with emotion as the candidates gave thanks to God for guiding them through their academic journey and sought blessings for the examinations ahead.

The Chapel was adorned beautifully for the occasion, setting the perfect backdrop for the well-dressed and stylish Senior 6 students who arrived in their finest attire. The Mass, led by the College Chaplain, emphasized the importance of faith, discipline, and humility — virtues that define the Namilyango spirit. Throughout the service, hymns and prayers resonated deeply, serving as a reminder of the school’s foundation in both academic and moral excellence.

Following the service, the celebration continued with a lively luncheon where laughter, music, and brotherhood filled the air. During the luncheon, the Senior 6 class took the opportunity to recognize and honor key members of the College community. Gifts were presented to top administrators, teaching staff, and support staff as tokens of appreciation for their guidance, mentorship, and unwavering support.
